How did you get here?
My career has been centered on creating meaningful experiences that connect people with opportunities. Before joining UC Berkeley Career Engagement, I worked at UC Santa Cruz in Educational Partnership Services, where I coordinated large-scale college access programs, events, and outreach initiatives that supported students on their higher education journey. Today, as the Assistant Director of Employer Relations Events, I lead the planning and execution of career fairs and employer engagement events, partnering with employers, campus stakeholders, and vendors to create impactful recruiting experiences for the Berkeley community.
Who do you work with? What’s cool about your job?
I work with the Employer Relations team, a group dedicated to creating valuable resources, opportunities, and experiences that connect employers with UC Berkeley students. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is collaborating with innovative Bay Area organizations and professionals while supporting driven students who are eager to make a meaningful impact. Every day, I get to help bring together talented individuals and industry leaders on one of the world’s most renowned and inspiring campuses.
What’s the best career advice anyone has given you?
The muralist Miles Toland once shared with me, “Never settle for ‘no’ as an answer when pursuing your dream career. Follow what you’re passionate about, and don’t stop until you arrive at the destination you’ve envisioned for yourself.”
Interests/Hobbies
Outside of work, I compete in beach volleyball, explore the arts, practice improv, attend as many music festivals as I can, and incorporate mindfulness into my daily life.
