Community Powers

The African American community has a history of experiencing racial discrimination related to education and employment. Finding a diverse and welcoming workplace that embraces their cultural identity and that is committed to expanding access to opportunities is of great importance to Black students. The African American community possesses a level of resolve, perseverance, and spirit that benefits the academy and world of work. The Career Center is committed to working with Black students in their career planning efforts and pursuit for systemic change.
