Gain visibility and get to know Cal students by attending a career fair at UC Berkeley! For the Fall 2023 semester, we are pleased to offer career fairs in a hybrid model: ten fairs total, with eight in-person and two hosted virtually within Handshake.

In in order to participate in our fair, you must have an approved Handshake account. Registration will open in early June.

Employers register through Handshake for one or more of the career fairs listed below. Employers will be able to customize registrations (booths) similarly to how profiles are customized in Handshake. Employers will set their schedule for 10-minute 1:1 video or text chats with students and 30-minute group sessions (currently 30-minute 50-student capacity group sessions within the Handshake platform; employers may use an external platform for groups larger than 50).

Employers have the opportunity to set preferences on their 1:1 meetings. Registered students will be able to scroll through each fair’s list of employer attendees to review which organizations are participating, what their respective opportunities are, and what, if any, prequalifications are listed to qualify for 1:1 chats. Text based chat will be an option for students who don’t have access to video.
