How did you get here?
LinkedIn…. Haha well the real answer is networking and event planning. I started organizing events when I was in my community college. I then got into Cal and began organizing events for the residential halls and for the ASUC Transfer Representative. There I met such amazing people! One of them being my friend Valarie. Valarie, knew I love creating events, enjoy working in bringing light to the transfer/1st gen community and thrive in a fast paced environment. She saw an opening in LinkedIn and sent it my way. Now, I am doing what I love and pursuing my passion within my Cal community. And I am very happy to be here and continue to grow along the way!

Who do you work with? What’s cool about your job?
I work in the Employer Relations Team! Something really cool about my job is that I help create the career fairs and get to see the interactions between employers and students. I love seeing the student’s proud faces after leaving knowing they have network and gotten one step closer to choosing their passion.
What’s the best career advice anyone has given you?
Job search is a process and everyone goes at their own pace. You are doing great. Give yourself some grace.
